School Support

Starting or navigating school is a big step, for children and parents alike. We support school readiness, transitions and everyday classroom life, working alongside your child's teachers so they can access learning and feel settled, safe and capable.

What It's For

School asks a lot of a child: separating from you, following group routines, sharing attention, managing a busy sensory environment, and coping with the ups and downs of a full day. When any of this is hard, it can affect learning, friendships and confidence. School support builds the foundations that help your child take part.

How We Do It

We look at what your child needs to feel confident, then put practical, achievable strategies in place. Crucially, we work collaboratively with your child's teachers and school, so support is consistent between home and classroom and everyone is pulling in the same direction.

What Changes

With the right foundations, transitions become smoother, routines feel manageable, and your child is free to focus on learning and friendships. You get to send them off each day feeling confident that they're supported.

What School Support Can Help With

You don't have to navigate school alone. We help you understand what your child needs and put the right support in place, so they can settle in and thrive.

Common questions

Questions Parents Ask Us

Can you visit my child’s school?+

Yes. School and kindy visits are a core part of how we work, with your consent and the school’s agreement.

Do you work with teachers directly?+

Yes. Strategies that live only in a clinic room rarely help at 9am on a Tuesday, so we work alongside teachers and support staff.

Is my child ready for Prep?+

School readiness is about social, emotional and physical foundations, not just letters and numbers. Our school readiness guide walks through what to look for.
