Assessments and therapy

NDIS Occupational Therapy

We work with self managed and plan managed NDIS participants, and with families using private funding, and the therapy itself is the same either way: same clinicians, same assessment tools, same standard of care. What changes is the paperwork, and we would rather carry that than have you carry it.

Self Managed and Plan Managed Plans

We work with self managed and plan managed NDIS participants, who can book with us directly. We are not currently able to take agency managed participants. Our client support team will walk you through service agreements and invoicing so the administration does not land on you.

Goals That Mean Something at Home

NDIS goals work best when they describe something your family actually wants: getting dressed without a battle, sitting through a meal, joining in at the playground, coping with the school morning. We set goals with you and your child, in that kind of language, and then we measure against them honestly.

Therapy That Happens Where Life Happens

Sessions can run in our Buderim clinic, in your home, or at school or kindy. Where we work is a clinical decision, not an administrative one: skills that need to transfer into the classroom are often best built in the classroom.

NDIS Reporting Done Properly

Progress reports and plan review reports are part of the service, not an afterthought. We write them in the language the NDIS expects, we base them on documented assessment and progress data rather than impressions, and they are reviewed by a senior clinician before they reach you.

Working with the Rest of Your Team

Most of the children we see have more than one professional involved: speech pathologists, psychologists, paediatricians, teachers, support workers. With your consent we coordinate, so everyone is working toward the same goals rather than six different ones.

If You Are Not Sure Your Plan Covers This

Ask us. Every new family is offered a free guidance call, and working out whether your funding fits what your child needs is a perfectly good reason to use it. If your plan is agency managed we will point you toward services that can help.

Common questions

Questions Parents Ask Us

Can we use NDIS funding at your clinic?+

Yes, if your plan is self managed or plan managed. We are not currently able to take agency managed participants.

Do you write plan review reports?+

Yes. Progress and plan review reports are part of the service, written from documented assessment and progress data and reviewed by a senior clinician.

Can therapy happen at school?+

Yes. School and kindy sessions are a core part of how we work, because skills need to transfer into the settings where they are used.
