Fees and Funding
There are several ways families fund therapy and assessment with us. Rather than publish figures that go out of date, we set out the pathways here and give you current fees in writing before you commit to anything.
Private Funding
You can see us privately without a referral and without a diagnosis. Our client support team will give you current fees for therapy sessions, assessments and reports before your first appointment, so there are no surprises.
NDIS Funding
We work with self managed and plan managed NDIS participants directly. We are not currently able to take agency managed participants. Our team handles service agreements and invoicing. Current NDIS pricing is published by the NDIA and we charge in line with it.
Medicare-Supported Pathways
Some families are eligible for Medicare rebates on a set number of allied health sessions, arranged by your GP or paediatrician through a care plan. Eligibility, session limits and rebate amounts are set by Medicare and change from time to time, so we will not quote them here. Your GP is the right person to confirm what you qualify for, and Services Australia publishes the current detail.
Private Health Insurance
Many extras policies include occupational therapy. Cover varies significantly between funds and policies, so check with your insurer directly. We can provide the item numbers you need to ask about.
Referrals
No referral is needed to book with us privately. A referral from your GP or paediatrician is required for Medicare-supported pathways, and is sometimes requested as part of a diagnostic process.
Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as you can, because a late cancellation is usually a session another family could have used. Our client support team will explain the current cancellation terms when you book.
If cost is the thing standing between your child and support, tell us. It is a normal conversation to have, and there is often more than one pathway available.
