Collaborative Partnerships is proud to present The first annual Sunshine Coast Child Health and Education Expo 2016, which will be held at the Innovation Centre (University of the Sunshine Coast) on the 29th October 2016. The SCCHE 2016 is the regions premier showcase of the leaders in paediatic healthcare and education for the Sunshine Coast/Noosa Region. This event will feature the top companies, equipment/resource providers or professionals working with children toward health or education goals.
The goal of the Expo is for medical professionals (GPs and Paediatricians), education staff and parents to meet the best of the local healthcare and education support providers on the Sunshine Coast.
"All children have within them the capacity to be great kids, its our responsibility to create a great world where this potential can florish." - Dr Stanley Greenspan.
Collaborative Partnerships is teaming up with rural and regional schools to provide allied health consulting/assessment services to schools that wouldnt usually have the opportunity to work with an allied health professional due to distance or availability.
This program is enabling teachers in regional schools to learn more about developmental problems and how to address them in an educational setting.
Coming in 2017:
Sunshine Coast Paediatric Healthcare Leaders Coordination Meeting
In an effort to build collaboration between the public, private and not-for-profit healcare systems, Collaborative Partnerships is aiming to launch a new initiative called the Paediatric Health Leaders Coordination Meeting. This meeting brings together both public and private sector medical and health professionals with a special interest in paediatrics in a setting to promote networking and collaboration. These meetings are to be held quarterly and will focus around coordinating services to meet the needs within our region, networking, providing professional development, and opportunities to share new, unique and innovative programs running in our region to benefit children and their families.
